Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: June 24, 2026

At Brightpath Medical Transport LLC, we understand that schedules can change. Our Cancellation Policy helps ensure we can continue providing reliable transportation services while respecting the time of all passengers and drivers.

 

Scheduled Ride Cancellations

We kindly ask that cancellations be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time whenever possible.

Providing advance notice allows us to adjust our schedule and accommodate other clients.

 

Late Cancellations

A cancellation made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Late cancellations impact driver scheduling and prevent other passengers from booking available transportation.

 

No-Show Policy

A passenger will be considered a No-Show if:

  • The driver arrives at the scheduled pickup location.

  • The driver attempts to contact the passenger.

  • The passenger cannot be located.

  • The passenger does not arrive within the scheduled waiting period.

No-Show appointments may be charged the full cost of the scheduled trip.

 

Driver Waiting Time

Drivers will generally wait up to 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time unless other arrangements have been made.

Additional waiting time may be available depending on the driver’s schedule and may result in additional charges.

 

Medical Appointment Delays

We understand that medical appointments may run longer than expected.

If your return transportation is delayed, please contact Brightpath as soon as possible so we can make reasonable scheduling adjustments.

While we will make every effort to accommodate delayed appointments, immediate pickup cannot always be guaranteed.

 

Weather and Emergencies

Cancellation fees may be waived for circumstances beyond the passenger’s reasonable control, including:

  • Severe weather

  • Natural disasters

  • Hospital admission

  • Medical emergencies

  • Road closures

  • Other situations approved by Brightpath Medical Transport LLC

 

Membership Plan Cancellations

Members enrolled in a Brightpath Monthly Transportation Plan may cancel their membership according to the terms outlined in their Membership Agreement.

Monthly membership fees are generally non-refundable once a billing cycle has begun unless otherwise stated in the Membership Agreement.

 

Brightpath Cancellations

On rare occasions, Brightpath may need to cancel or reschedule transportation due to:

  • Unsafe road conditions

  • Vehicle mechanical issues

  • Driver illness

  • Severe weather

  • Other unforeseen circumstances

If this occurs, we will make every reasonable effort to notify you promptly and assist with rescheduling.

 

Refund Policy

Refund eligibility will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Factors considered may include:

  • Timing of the cancellation

  • Reason for cancellation

  • Payment status

  • Circumstances beyond the passenger’s control

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible.

 

Changes to Scheduled Trips

Passengers needing to modify a scheduled ride should contact Brightpath as soon as possible.

We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate schedule changes based on driver availability.
